This will be the first time that Samsung will be bringing the Snapdragon-powered Galaxy S series smartphones to India. This means the upcoming S22, S22 Plus and S22 Ultra will come with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset instead of the Exynos 2200. However, it remains to be seen whether this will be for good or not as there are reports about the Snapdragon chipset heating and throttling issues. The upcoming Galaxy S22 series will come with Android 12 based OneUI 4.0 custom skin, Dynamic AMOLED 2X display with a 120Hz refresh rate, up to 45W fast charging support, IP68 rating, and more.
Samsung Galaxy S22 series prices (expected)
Samsung Galaxy S22 price in India is said to start at Rs 69,900. While the Galaxy S22 Ultra is tipped to cost Rs 109,900. However, the Galaxy S22+ price is under wraps, for now. Previous reports have hinted the S22 and S22+ will be available in 8GB+128GB and 8GB+256GB storage models. They will be available in Black, White, and Green colour options. Lastly, the Galaxy S22 Ultra will be available in two storage configurations: 12GB RAM and 256GB/512GB storage options. It will be available in Phantom Black and Phantom White colour options.
