OnePlus and OPPO in September last year announced they will launch a new unified OS that would replace the existing OxygenOS custom skin on OnePlus phones. The OS was initially expected to launch in 2022 and be a part of the OnePlus 10 series flagships. This came after OnePlus has announced it will be merging OxygenOS codebase within ColorOS for a better user experience. While this didn’t really go down well with many OnePlus fans, there was still hope for the new unified OS. Now, 91mobiles has exclusively learned from noted leakster Yogesh Brar that the unified OS has been delayed and that the OnePlus 10 Pro global version will run on Oxygen OS 12 custom skin out of the box.
