OnePlus 10 Pro debuted in China earlier this year, way ahead of the company’s usual launch cycle. The handset is one among the first to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset and it also brings OnePlus’ new 80W fast charging tech. The OnePlus 10 Pro’s global and India launch is yet to happen and there have been multiple rumours regarding the launch timeline. Now, OnePlus has officially confirmed that the flagship will arrive in India, Europe and North America by March-end. The brand is yet to reveal the launch date, but we can expect that announcement soon enough. Thanks to the China launch, we already have the complete specifications and design of the phone.
The OnePlus 10 Pro comes with top-of-the-line hardware, including a 2K LTPO 2.0 AMOLED display, a 50MP primary camera, and Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC. However, what bothers us is the not-so-great build quality. As many are aware, the OnePlus 10 Pro snapped in half in a recent durability test, which rendered the device completely unusable. The reason behind this is apparently a structural design flaw — the battery runs lengthwise across the phone, leaving just the side rails to take the entire force of the snap.

It is a 6.7-inch 2K Fluid AMOLED LTPO 2.0 display with a 120z refresh rate, Corning Gorilla Glass Victus, HDR10+, MEMC, up to 480Hz touch response, and a punch-hole camera. The device is equipped with an in-display fingerprint sensor for security, Dolby Atmos, and Hi-Res audio. The phone has a 5,000mAh battery with 80W SuperVOOC wired fast charging, 50W AirVOOC wireless charging, and reverse charging support.
