Realme GT 2 and Realme GT 2 Pro global launch confirmed for March 2022.

Realme GT 2 and Realme GT 2 Pro phones launched in China earlier this year and are the premium flagships from the brand. Now, it appears the company is ready to take them to the global markets. According to the leaked posters shared by Sudhanshu Ambhore, the Realme GT 2 and GT 2 Pro will be debuting globally in March 2022 and this also reveals the colour options they will arrive in. While the former can be seen in a White colour option, the latter is seen in a Green hue with a leather finish. The company is yet to reveal the exact launch date but there are speculations the announcement might happen during MWC, which is scheduled between February 28th and March 3rd.
Realme GT 2 Pro specifications
Realme GT 2 Pro has a 6.7-inch WQHD+ (3216 x 1440 pixels resolution) LTPO AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, Corning Gorilla Glass Victus protection, HDR10+, 1,000Hz touch sampling rate, 1,400nits brightness, MEMC, a 0.40mm punch-hole cutout, and slightly curved edges. Connectivity options include 5G, Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, NFC, and USB Type-C port.
The phone ships with the mighty Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen1 chipset paired with Adreno GPU for graphics. It packs up to 12GB LPDDR5 RAM and 512GB storage that is further expandable via a microSD card. It comes with an in-display fingerprint sensor for security, Dolby Atmos, and a 5,000mAh battery with 65W fast charging support. It measures 163.2 x 74.7 x 8.18mm and weighs 189 grams. The Realme GT 2 Pro run Android 12 OS with Realme UI 3.0 custom skin out of the box. Moving to optics, the Realme GT 2 Pro has triple cameras on the back, comprising of a 50MP primary sensor, a 50MP ultra-wide-angle lens with a 150-degree FoV, and a 40X microscope lens. It comes with a 4K video recording, Fish Eye mode 2.0, and Night mode. There is a 32MP snapper on the front for selfies and video chats.

Connectivity features include 5G, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, GPS, NFC, and USB Type-C port. It measures 162.9 x 75.8 x 8.6mm and weighs 198.9 grams. The Realme GT 2 is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 chipset paired with Adreno 660 GPU, 8GB/12GB RAM, and 128GB/256GB internal storage. It runs on Android 12 based Realme UI 3.0 custom skin on top.
Moving to optics, the Realme GT 2 has a 50MP Sony IMX766 primary sensor with OIS, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens with 119-degree FOV, and a 2MP macro lens.
