Apple’s first mixed reality headset, which will be a mix of virtual reality and augmented reality is expected to arrive around sometime later this year. Now, according to a fresh research note to investors seen by 9to5Mac, noted Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo has suggested that Apple’s headset will be limited, which means it should be sold in limited quantity around late 2022. This could mean the company could launch the product at the iPhone 14 event in September but will not ship until the end of the year. The adequate supplies of the VR/AR headset will not arrive until the first quarter of 2023.
